We are the only true Environment friendly option for the management and maintenance of property.
How it works
We are a goat herd rental service specializing in targeting areas to focus on specific problems. Our crews are experienced in the removal of kudzu, underbrush, poison ivy and all other types of invasive and aggressive plant species. The Roxbury Goats come in with the customers goal in mind and leave a manageable and workable space.
We will develop a plan based on the individual needs of the property owner.
How it works
First, enzymes in the goats’ saliva
renders seeds consumed neutral and unable to prorogate. The beginning of the end, stop propagation of new plants. Next, strip the foliage off the plants creating a shock that will lessen regrowth. Goats will do this for you by consuming the foliage and chewing through the woody stems. Now you will be able to get control of and manage its invasive encroachment reclaiming your property. The tried, true and most immediate way to eradicate kudzu is to pull the vines with nodules attached and cut the crown from the tap root. After the goats go through it makes it much easier to find the crowns and navigate the terrain. Or our very favorite, have the herd back out.
There are several techniques suggested such as black landscape plastic. After stripping the plant foliage, it is expected to take 2 years for partial control of kudzu. Another common method is treating with chemicals, but again it is expected to take 10 plus years of constant treatment.
